MIDDLESEX COUNTY
Common View Farm Sally Smith 13 Common Street, Groton, MA 01450 (978) 449-9787
Common View Farm is a small family farm, growing perennial plants and cut flowers for their farm stand, and several local farmers' markets. They offer a select assortment of early vegetables, berries, jam & jellies, honey from their own bees, and eggs from their free-ranging chickens.
When asked about these special eggs, Sally Smith, Common View Farm owner, tells us "We started with a small family flock and are now selling eggs from our farm stand, as well as, supplying our local farmers' markets. Our hens are given a free range of the farm when it is safe for them to do so. The bugs, weed seeds and green grass they graze on gives the eggs an amazing flavor. When a breakfast egg is cracked open, the yolk sits high in the pan with that beautiful orange color ... delicious! There's nothing like a farm fresh egg from a flock of friendly chickens!
